Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Lakeside Freight is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
