Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Cedar Meridian Hospitality Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
