Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Forge Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in collection routes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
