Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Stonegate Kestrel Community Partners is a Austin charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in food distribution and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on client intake. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
