Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Fernwood Bright Markets Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on store inventory. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
