Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Wilder Insurance Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on policy renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
