Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (New Orleans, LA)

Bright West Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
