Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Jackson, MS)

Lumen Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Jackson, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 585 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in ridership counts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
