Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Nova Ashton Civic Services Partners and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
