Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Ridge Construction is a Detroit contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on project schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
