Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Wilder Insurance Group is an insurance company in Detroit with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
