Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Freight and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Denver. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
