Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Fox Community Partners is a Chicago charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 741 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
