Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Boston, MA)

Cedar Granite Construction is a Boston contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Boston. What you will do • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
