Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Stone Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on field visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
