Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Pine Water Authority Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
