Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Anchorage, AK)

Highbridge Timber Community Partners is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
