Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in scrap and rework and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on tooling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
