Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (Albuquerque, NM)

Ironwood Ember Water Authority is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
