Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Seattle, WA)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Seattle working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
