Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Seattle, WA)

Rivermark Yarrow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tracking. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
