Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Quarry Inspection Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in certifications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on equipment calibration. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
