Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath Union Foods is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
