Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Haven Auto Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
