Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Salt Lake City, UT)

Stonegate Ember Markets is a Salt Lake City retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
