Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Vale Medical designs and makes medical devices in Rochester, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory submissions and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on complaint handling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
