Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Summit Mill Arts Center Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
