Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Rochester, NY)

Northwind River Financial Group serves customers across Rochester with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
