Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Sable Auto Group is a Rochester company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
