Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Reno, NV)

Bright Yarrow Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Reno. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in certifications and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
