Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Reno, NV)

Clearpath Orchard Energy is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on hardship programmes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
