Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Bright Fern Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage response. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
