Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Silverline Cedar Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Baltimore area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in group events and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
