Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Amberfield Ember Financial is a financial-services company in Knoxville, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 328 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in account servicing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
