Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Northwind Bright Water Authority is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
