Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Rivermark Kestrel Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Austin area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on enrolment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
