Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Silverline Bright Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
