Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Lumen Telecom is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
