Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Meadow Water Authority is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on water quality. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
