Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Harborlight Pine Markets is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
