Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Rivermark Fern Energy is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
