Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Northwind Ashton Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Des Moines, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on group events. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
