Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Foxglove Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Sacramento region. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on project schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
