Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Lumen Haven Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
