Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Memphis, TN)

Redstone Beacon Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in scrap and rework and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on work orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
