Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Madison, WI)

Northwind Sable Early Learning runs childcare centres in Madison caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in Madison. What you will do • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
