Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Wren Banking Services is a regional lender in Kansas City with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in account openings and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
