Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Jackson, MS)

Redstone Granite Financial is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on account servicing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
