Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Yarrow Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in client sites and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
