Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Beacon Community Partners is a Jackson charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 843 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in grant reporting and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
